The Burger Kitchen

I don't know where to start with the Burger Kitchen. This spot has a lot of potential, but has a lot of issues. Let's start with the staff, the staff here act like there's a Lakers game going on in the kitchen. They only come out to the tables once every 5 minutes or so. Then when they come out they walk around real quick trying not to hear all the customers request. It was kind of funny.

The one thing we all agreed on while eating at Burger Kitchen was that all the burgers tasted bland. Which really suprised me, considering we all got different burgers. Even Veggie D, said her veggie burger was bland. I ordered the Natural burger ($29), this burger is made with Pat la Frieda New York special aged meat. This meat supposedly won numerous awards nationally for great taste, but I have to admit I wasn't impressed. Again, it was was very bland. Not to mention the cheese on the burger was to thick & there wasn't enough sauce. The only thing really tasty was the bun.

The Habit

The Habit makes good burgers. The char taste in their burger is tasty and unique. Its a good burger you can pick up real quick for a cheap price. I say, its slightly better than an In & Out burger.

26 Beach

26 Beach has a LOT of good burgers. They have over 20 burger options, which isnt a bad thing, its just the difference in burger may be something small. For example, the difference between the 26er burger and the Old timer burger is one has mayo. I know um picky. Anyway the burgers are good, a little expensive though. My favorite was the King Kobe burger, it was worth the high price ($17) and had a nice taste. My least favorite was the Califonia Roll burger ($19), it supposedly won some LA burger award, so I had to try it. Boy was I disappointed, the burger had wasabi and crab on it. I should have known it was going to be disgusting. But like I said, there are lots of options, so you'll find something you like...oh yeah, be sure to make reservations if your going around dinner time, or you'll be waiting at least 15 minutes.

8oz Burger

****I Love 8oz Burger**** there I said it. I never thought I would find a place better than The Counter. But this place is. Their burger is the bizness. Their burger literally melts in your mouth. It is so delicious. I think they use a blend of top sirlion, rib eye, and high grade kobe beef. Mmmm.... Man, some burger places, as your eating the burger, it feels like your mouth has to work too hard to eat, not at 8oz. At 8oz burger, the burger has your mouth running laps, not even winded, but doing backflips and hoping it never ends. Not to mention they have flat screens to keep up with the game, alcohol/ beer, and a kids menu. Everytime I think about 8oz Burger, i think about how delicious their burger is, man.....I've been back like 3x times since my initial visit....

25 Degrees

25 Degrees makes great burgers. I really like the buns they use, and their special sauce on their burgers is delicious. Mmmmmm......I have to say, the thing that really impressed me with 25 degrees is the size of their burger. Its big, and its a great value. You get a large great burger. That says a lot, many of the lower ranked places (Umami) give you a burger the size of a slider, LOL... I also have to mention, the atmosphere at 25 degrees is great, when we went, they were playing Biggies-Ready to Die CD, the bar area was crowded, and it was very lively. It is near Hollywood & Vine so parking can be a little tough, and its best not to bring the little one....

Pie N Burger

Pie N Burger is a good burger spot. This spot, and Apple Pan have very similiar burgers. I have to admit I wasn't that impressed with their burger. It was good but, it was far from mind blowing. The best thing about Pie N Burger is the staff, they are the nicest wait staff I have met. They made us feel like family, and there's a lot to say about great customer service.
